Ashfield Meetings & Events, a full service global event management company specializing in serving the healthcare sector, announced several key changes to their U.S. Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
Laura Brown has been named as VP, Commercial Operations. Laura joined the organization in 2009 as an Account Manager at the agency’s global headquarters in the UK, where she most recently held the position of Business Director. Laura has a strong operational background with both pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical clients. In her new role, Laura will oversee the Operational account teams across the US locations in Ivyland, Pa., Indianapolis, Ind. and San Bruno, Calif.
Additionally, Laura’s responsibilities will include the Engagement and Creative Services Team and Venue Sourcing teams in the U.S. Laura will be based in the Ivyland, Pa. office.

Siân Pedersen has moved into the role of VP, Operational Excellence. Siân has been with the organization for 14 years beginning as a Project Executive and most recently, VP Operations at the US headquarters in Ivyland, PA. In this new role, Siân will concentrate on enabling operational excellence in the business and, in particular, looking at quality and compliance.
Katie Koziol has assumed the role of Director, Client Services. Katie joined the organization in 2004 as a Project Executive and most recently held the role of Account Director. In her new role, Katie will manage the account/operations team in Ivyland and also have a greater focus on servicing and growing new client accounts.

This restructuring of the U.S. Senior team allows for increased emphasis on delivering full service events and presents an excellent opportunity for collaboration between operations, engagement and venue sourcing teams.
