Atlanta Closes 2019 with Esteemed Awards

Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau (ACVB) celebrated industry awards in numerous categories including customer service, public relations and marketing initiatives in 2019. 

  • Cvent ranked Atlanta No. 4 on its 2019 list of Top 50 Cities for Meetings and Events, moving up one position from 2018. Cvent evaluated more than 1,000 cities, ranking them based on meeting and event booking activity in the Cvent Supplier Network. 
       
  • Northstar Meetings Group selected ACVB for the 2019 Stella Award for Best CVB/DMO in the Southeast, demonstrating quality service and innovation to meeting professionals.
  • Smart Meetings awarded ACVB the 2019 Platinum Choice Award for excellent service and resources.
  • For the fifth consecutive year, Corporate & Incentive Travel awarded ACVB the Award of Excellence for excelling in serving the needs of customers.

ACVB also received awards in digital marketing and public relations. Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association awarded ACVB a 2019 Silver HSMAI Adrian Award for its trade show booth activation and a Bronze HSMAI Adrian Award for a Super Bowl LIII welcome video. Public Relations Society of America’s Georgia Chapter honored ACVB with a 2019 Phoenix Awardfor best sponsorship activation during Atlanta Pride Festival.
