Bringing its 99th Annual Conference to the Atlantic City Convention Center for three days, The New Jersey State League of Municipalities, the largest municipal gathering in the U.S., will open Nov. 18.
More than 22,000 exhibitors and delegates are expected to be in attendance for this year’s convention.
“We are thrilled to play host to the 99th year of the convention,” said Karen Totaro, general manager, Global Spectrum at the Atlantic City Convention Center. “The Center is filled with amazing displays and education sessions from top to bottom and we are looking forward to the big opening Tuesday morning.”
To directly impact local Atlantic City businesses, the estimated delegate spending will reach more than $12 million dollars. More than 8,800 Atlantic City hotel rooms have been contracted by convention center visitors throughout the week.
This prestigious conference is a valuable learning experience in which delegates will have the opportunity to learn and ask questions to more than 100 panels, clinics, workshops and other sessions conducted by the New Jersey State League of Municipalities and the 21 associations of technical and professional employees allied with it. Participants will also be able to view commercial, government and association exhibits displaying the latest products and services.
In the past, more than 17,000 have attended this historic conference. The conference continues to be the largest municipal gathering in the country as more than 22,000 are expected to participate this year.
