As a result of increased presence in the automotive industry, Derse has announced the addition of a new account director specializing in the automotive field.
Michelle MacRae brings 16 years of experiential marketing expertise in the automotive category to Derse. She specializes in auto shows, special events, product launches, owner/enthusiast events and ride-and-drives. As manager of event marketing for Mitsubishi Motors North America, MacRae developed a strong track record of success with face-to-face marketing initiatives by leveraging experiential techniques to demonstrate unique selling points.
“The combination of Michelle’s expertise and Derse’s smarter approach could be a game-changer for automotive face-to-face marketing,” said Jason Gobeyn, director of business development, Derse. “She’s a great strategist, and her ability to lead large auto programs makes her the perfect person to take our clients’ programs – and results – to new levels.”
MacRae has spearheaded more than 30 product premiers with roles and responsibilities that included strategic and tactical marketing planning, consumer engagement and experience initiatives and lead generation/measurement strategy. Her experience also includes interfacing with traditional and digital advertising teams, public relations, product planning, research and design, incentives and launch teams.
MacRae earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Texas at Austin and a certification in accounting from the University of Pittsburgh.
