AWE’s #Elevate19 Changes Venue to Mandarin Oriental

ELEVATE! Powered by the Association of Women (AWE), a premier women’s leadership event to be held in Washington D.C. on Mar. 7 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., has had to change its venue to the Mandarin Oriental Washington, D.C. Originally scheduled to be held at the Conrad Washington D.C., the hotel is experiencing a delay in its opening and is no longer able to host the event.

Keynote speaker, Michelle Obama’s speechwriter, Sarah Hurwitz, will leave visitors with a renewed sense of purpose and innovative ideas. The premier of this women’s leadership event gives unique opportunities to meet fellow change-makers in business, events and politics.

ELEVATE! will be including disruptive, compelling sessions, networking with industry change-makers, world-class speakers, mini makeover and head shot photo, breaks with service dogs, video interview studio, inspiration wall and food and beverage for the day.

The Association for Women in Events, a 501(c)3 non profit, is an inclusive community dedicated to the professional advancement of women in all facets of the events industry. The international organization was established in Washington, D.C., in March of 2015. AWE has earned international support from a myriad of individuals and organizations.
