In November of this year, beMatrix USA hosted its twice-a-year informational seminar, beAcademy, which is designed to provide customers with a comprehensive understanding of beMatrix’s products and services. Over 30 different companies sent representatives to learn about and engage with various beMatrix® products. The event kicked off with a cocktail reception on Tuesday evening, setting the tone for a collaborative and engaging experience.
The following day commenced with an introduction provided by beMatrix USA CEO, Tara Ericson, providing attendees with a holistic view of the company’s ethos, history, and mission statement. From there, the learning began. Dave Brown took the stage to delve into the Core Product Review, offering a detailed exploration of beMatrix’s key offerings. The day continued with a Warehouse Tour led by Procurement Manager, Dominiek Cardoen; CAD Team Lead, Kyle Lucken; Planning/Inventory Supervisor, Travis Fulton; and the entire beMatrix USA Account Management Team. During this tour, participants were able to witness the company’s operations and meet with production staff behind the scenes.
Wednesday afternoon saw a diverse range of sessions, including an in-depth exploration of beMatrix’s Rental Program with Sales Manager, Dave Brown. During his presentation, Dave went into detail regarding the available rental options found at the Las Vegas and Atlanta USA Rental Service Centers, as well as beMatrix’s global network of Rental Service Centers. Freelance Designer and guest speaker, Pablo Perez, discussed Best Design Practices when working with beMatrix® products and what to account for when creating graphics for a design. Afterward, Matthew Schneider provided an overview of the various Outdoor and Xtreme Solutions available for customers who are looking to push the limits of their designs and go beyond the showroom floor. Lastly, Dominiek Cardoen, reviewed the newest beMatrix innovations and discussed what beMatrix products customers can expect next. The day concluded at Top Golf, where beMatrix hosted attendees in a relaxed atmosphere for networking and camaraderie among attendees.
The final day of beAcademy began with an Account Management and Ordering Overview presented by Destiney Mathis, Client Experience Manager. During her presentation, Destiney walked customers through the process of requesting a quote and understanding what to expect from the Account Management Team. Account Executive Matt McGraw followed up with a detailed look at some of the latest innovations in beMatrix’s LEDskin® line. This was followed by an additional session that covered important things to consider when selecting a print and graphics vendor presented by Design to Print CTO, Josh Bevans. Kyle Lucken then returned to the stage to go into further detail about beMatrix’s CAD Detailing services and beCAD, a tool designed by beMatrix to help exhibit builders create designs using the same technology as beMatrix. Lastly, the afternoon wrapped up with a hands-on training led by Account Executive Walt McCreary, Dominiek Cardoen, and the Account Management Team. The hands-on training offered a practical application of the knowledge gained throughout the event.
beAcademy proved to be a valuable platform for fostering deeper connections between beMatrix USA and its customers, offering a blend of product insights, practical training, and engaging networking opportunities. The event ensured that attendees left with an enhanced familiarity of beMatrix products, knowledge of beMatrix’s new offerings, and a clearer understanding of the services available to them as beMatrix customers.
