beMatrix—designer and manufacturer of a modular frame system for the exhibit builder, general contractor, event producer, production house, retail builder and beyond—has announced that its beTruss system has won a 2020 GOOD DESIGN Award. The GOOD DESIGN Awards Program, presented by The Chicago Athenaeum, annually recognizes the most innovative and cutting-edge industrial, product, and graphic designs produced around the world.
The recognition of beTruss demonstrates beMatrix’s ability to continuously enhance and expand the building options and design possibilities available to the exhibit, event and retail industries. “We are honored to have received this award recognizing our beTruss design,” says Edwin Van der Vennet (pictured right), chief innovation officer. “During a down time in the live event industry it is wonderful to receive this great news. beTruss is a game-changing product and beMatrix continues to change the face of the live event industry. We are delighted that the GOOD DESIGN committee values not only visual design but technical implementation as well.” beMatrix innovations have previously been recognized by other prestigious international awards including the Red Dot Design Award and an iF Design Award.
beTruss, which was recognized in the retail fittings category of the GOOD DESIGN Awards, enables users to build exhibits of any size, no matter how big, with a single system. beTruss’s simplicity and precise engineering means no more breaking a sweat over mounting points and incredibly fast installation. And because all system components are based on a 62×62 mm grid, beTruss integrates seamlessly with all other beMatrix frame system components.
beTruss structures can be finished with panels, fabric or beMatrix LEDskin seamless modular LED display panels—integrating perfectly into any exhibit or environmental design.
