Registration has begun for the hosted buyer program at the 31st BTC, Italy’s events’ exhibition, set to take place at the Spadolini pavilion of Fortezza da Basso, Florence, Dec. 10-11.

True to its mission, to bring buyers to the exhibition area comprising one third from Italy and two thirds from abroad, while at the same time continuing the positive growth trend of the last two years, Exmedia, the Rimini Fiera SpA company that organizes BTC, has set a final target of 300 buyers, of which 100 (33 percent) should come from Italy. Its target for foreign buyers breaks down as follows: 41 percent from the rest of Europe, 13 percent from the Americas, 9 percent from Asia (including the Middle East) and 1 percent from Oceania.
As in previous years, buyers in 2015 will come from various areas of demand, and will include corporate event managers and meeting planners; marketing & communication managers; company procurement managers; event managers for scientific associations and companies; unions, organizations and political parties; representatives of event and conference organization agencies; incentive houses; integrated communication agencies; PCOs (professional conference organizers); and travel agencies with events and conference divisions.
The leisure program for hosted buyers is currently being planned, and will as usual offer an extremely varied and exclusive schedule, designed to enable them to experience the beauty of the host city, and its food and wine.
