Following Caesars Entertainment’s company-wide consolidation of its meetings business into a single department under one leadership team, the company has hired a new manager for convention sales marketing, which is a newly created position designed to focus exclusively on the meetings market.
Rina Foster will be responsible for driving the marketing vision and executing the day-to-day strategy for Caesars Entertainment’s meetings business, spanning nearly 40 properties in 20 destinations nationwide. She will manage a meetings marketing team that has doubled in size since the company’s reorganization.
“As our company continues to grow, the meetings segment is a critical part of our business strategy,” said Michael Massari, senior vice president, Caesars Entertainment. “We felt it was important for us to create this new position dedicated to the meetings and events market so that we can adequately support the significant efforts we are making to grow and serve this customer segment.”
Foster brings knowledge of the meetings industry and proven expertise in media relations, social marketing, branding campaigns, grassroots marketing and special-event planning. Prior to joining Caesars Entertainment, she served as director of public relations at a four-star resort and casino in Las Vegas where she led the execution of strategic communication campaigns and oversaw the implementation of public relations and social-marketing strategies.
“We’re confident Rina’s experience and leadership ability will guide our marketing efforts and help us to continue providing our customers with successful meeting experiences across all our properties,” said Amy Allen, director of marketing, Caesars Entertainment.
Foster’s previous experience includes working at a Las Vegas public relations agency managing major accounts in the agency’s corporate, gaming, meetings, tour and travel and general business areas of practice. A Drake University alumna, Foster has a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communications.
