Demonstrating how staff at FABTECH 2012 used Onsite Wireless Will Call to streamline the registration process for attendees and reduce registration wait times by 90 percent is detailed in a study released by Convention Data Services (CDS).
“The tool was a benefit for exhibitors who checked in and received their badge right in their booth,” said David Lawton, executive vice president, sales and marketing, Convention Data Services.
The Onsite Wireless Will Call app was created by CDS to quickly move attendees and exhibitors out of registration and onto the show floor, which was achieved.
Massachusetts-based CDS provides registration, database management, exhibitor lead management services and event marketing to the tradeshow industry worldwide.
