CDS enters Latin America with strategic partnership

Convention Data Services (CDS), a provider of registration and lead management services, formed a strategic partnership with Mexico-based Infoexpo.

ECN 042014_Convention Data Services logo (340x100)Together, CDS and Infoexpo will provide show managers and their exhibitors in Latin America with the most advanced registration system, lead retrieval, including CDS’ proprietary app, and the accompanying onsite support at each event.

“Our strategy at CDS is to expand into international markets. This new partnership with Infoexpo will give us the opportunity to service our clients more efficiently and effectively by leveraging Infoexpo’s vast experience and relationships in the growing Latin American market,” said John Kimball, president and CEO, Convention Data Services.

Under the agreement, all registration and lead retrieval products and services will run on the CDS platform: X•Press Event for registration and X•Press Leads for lead retrieval.

“The collaboration between Infoexpo and CDS will expand the services that CDS’ clients have access to and will provide additional marketing tools anywhere in Mexico and Latin America. The expertise of both CDS and Infoexpo positions them as the best partners for organizations looking for new opportunities in The Americas,” said Humberto Villarino Arenas, president, Infoexpo.

Bringing the new partners together for the first time is FABTECH Mexico in May. FABTECH Mexico show management, a current CDS client, said they are supportive of this new partnership.
