Bourne, Mass.-based Convention Data Services, a Freeman company, a global leader in registration and digital event solutions, is excited to announce strategic changes to its sales organization. To support CDS’s continued growth, Ian Twentey, will assume the position of VP, Business Development. In his new role, he will be responsible for new client acquisition with a strong focus on expanding the adoption of CDS’s suite of registration solutions.

Twentey’s industry background, spanning close to 30 years, will be instrumental to developing key relationships to support strategic growth. Prior to joining CDS, he most recently was VP of sales at CompuSystems, where he led new client acquisition efforts. He spent years prior at event technology companies such as Experient, Turnout Now and Core-apps, where he was responsible for all sales initiatives and account growth.
