CEIR hosts golf tournament to support research at IMEX America

The Center for Exhibition Industry Research (CEIR) announced June 9 it will hold its inaugural CEIR Golf Classic during IMEX America Oct. 13 in Las Vegas at the Rio Secco Golf Club in Henderson, Nev.

Benefiting the research CEIR provides throughout the year, this event serves the overall travel, tourism, meetings, conventions and hospitality industries who value the performance analysis of the exhibitions industry.

“CEIR’s golf tournaments have evolved based on the positive feedback that we have received in the past, and we are elated to work with IMEX to offer this wonderful complement to the portfolio of opportunities to continue to raise funds for CEIR research,” said Brian Casey, president and CEO, CEIR.

Each year, CEIR holds golf tournaments to provide essential funding for important industry research. These worthwhile networking opportunities allow industry professionals to spend valuable face-to-face time with industry peers, while making a difference in support of continued industry intelligence.

In addition to collocating with IMEX America, the CEIR Golf Classic will follow the Convention Industry Council’s Hall of Leaders Gala, which affords industry professionals an additional networking experience while onsite.

“We are delighted to partner with CEIR for the first time this year at IMEX America,” said Carina Bauer, CEO, IMEX Group. “This golf tournament delivers another new element to the Smart Monday offering and gives participants a great opportunity to network in a very special setting at the same time as benefiting the industry.”
