CEO Summit co-locates with CES Asia

2015 Consumer Electronics CEO Summit, an invitation-only industry event drawing technology leaders from around the globe, will be held during the inaugural International CES Asia. The event will bring executives and VIP buyers to the continent.

CES Asia will run May 25-27 in Shanghai, China, at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) and will draw global businesses to showcase the latest products and technologies entering the Asian marketplace.

“The CEO Summit hosts top executives from the world’s largest brands and global retailers. We are bringing this elite group of technology executives to CES Asia to highlight the ever-increasing business opportunities in the thriving Asian marketplace,” said Gary Shapiro, president and CEO, Consumer Electronics Association (CEA). “Through these events, these executives will experience first-hand the ground-breaking innovations hitting the Asian market.”

CEO Summit brings together decision-makers from major consumer technology companies to meet and network in an exclusive, executive-only environment. The event will take place in the prestigious Kerry Hotel Pudong in Shanghai. Current registrants for CEO Summit include high-level executives from the likes of major industry players, including: Newegg, Canon U.S.A. Inc., desktop FAB Inc., ibiquity Digital Corporation, Sony Electronics and Voxx International amongst others.

The CES Asia show floor will span 20,000 gross square meters (8,500 net square meters) of exhibit space showcasing top trends including the Internet of Things, technology innovation and connectivity. More than 150 companies representing 14 countries are currently slated to exhibit from China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Israel, New Zealand, Norway, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Sweden, Taiwan, the United Kingdom and the United States. Notable exhibitors to date include: Audi, Audio-Technica, Continental, Digital China, DTS, Ford, Garmin, Gibson, Hisense, IBM, Intel, JD.com, Mercedes-Benz, Misfit, Monster, Scosche, Shanghai Moshi, Skullcandy Audio, Thinking Group, TomTom, Twitter and Voxx.

Additionally, CES Asia will feature the latest in 3D printing, robotics, wearables and more across 14 product categories spanning the most influential ingenuities from smart home to automotive to sports and fitness. The CES Asia conference program will offer several sessions relevant to consumer technology buyers and retailers with topics including technology trends to watch, wearables, the Internet of Things, the outlook of the consumer tech market in China and the U.S. and the future of automotive technology. CEA is co-producing CES Asia with Intex Shanghai Co., Ltd., a prominent producer of international tradeshows in China.
