Golfing and raising money to benefit Exhibit 4 Smiles (E4 Smiles) will go hand-in-hand during EXHIBITOR 2014.
The fourth annual Charity Cup Golf Tournament will be held on Mar. 16 at the Stallion Mountain Golf Course in Las Vegas at the start of EXHIBITOR 2014, which runs Mar. 16-20 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center.
Collaborating with the Exhibit Designers and Producers Association, E4 Smiles benefits children who suffer from life threatening illnesses.
Founded by tradeshow veteran Costas Varkarotas, E4 Smiles has touched the lives of more than 150 children. By turning donors into sponsors and matching them with children who are patients at various children’s hospitals and cancer clinics nationwide, E4 Smiles has donated in the form of gift cards and toys.
“The kindness, love and support that Costas Varkarotas and E4 Smiles participants offers these kids is nothing short of tremendous. The dark challenges they face is offset by the happiness that E4 Smiles brings into their lives” said Chuck Michel, vice president of tradeshow services, ELITeXPO.
“Costas has put together a movement that the folks at Tradeshow Golf are just thrilled to be a part of and support,” added Michel.
In a 2011 interview with Dubai Profile News, Varkarotas, father of a terminally-ill child, spoke about the personal significance with E4 Smiles.
“Christopher is our inspiration. He’s a very special child who has literally taught me many things about life. Through our personal experience, we have witnessed how many families in the same situation deal with this challenge,” said Varkarotas.
The entry fee per person is $150, which includes a cart, lunch and two drink tickets. Prizes will be given for all levels.
