LaKota Hotels & Resorts has named Christine Imbrogno director of sales and marketing at Lakota Oaks, Connecticut’s premier event and conference center, located in Norwalk, Conn. Christine brings 23 years of hospitality sales and marketing experience to the operation.
Imbrogno began her hospitality career in 1996 as a sales coordinator at this same facility when it was the GTE Management Development Center. She moved up to director of sales when the facility became the Prudential Learning Center, continued in that capacity when it became Dolce Norwalk, and later served as global sales director for the Dolce organization. Most recently, she accomplished a special sales and marketing mission for Doral Arrowwood in Westchester County, NY.
LaKota Hotels & Resorts assumed management of the former Dolce Norwalk in June 2018, rebranded it “LaKota Oaks,” completed a multi-million-dollar renovation, and recently brought Imbrogno back to spearhead the critical sales and marketing effort.

While serving as a key member of the LaKota Oaks executive leadership team, Imbrogno’s mission is focused on accommodating conferences and celebratory social events from the surrounding Fairfield and Westchester County areas, as well as from Manhattan, where organizations are looking to escape to a convenient retreat-like setting in Southern Connecticut for their executive programs, strategic planning sessions and team building events.
Imbrogno received a BS in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University, is active in several industry and community organizations and lives with her family in Darien, Conn.
