Google, Blackberry, Unilever and MobileGroove were amongst the leading organizations speaking at Mobile Convention London, hosted at Church House Conference Centre on March 26. Mobile Convention London, a one-day event focused on mobile engagement strategies, was held in London for the first time following previous successful Mobile Conventions held in Amsterdam and Brussels.

The event, which attracted delegates from the mobile technology industry, included interactive presentations and panel discussions with international speakers, networking round tables and a high tech playground, based in Church House’s Assembly Hall.

Held in London for the first time, Mobile Convention plans on returning in 2016.

“The first Mobile Convention in London was of high quality. Mobile Convention London and founding partner CM stepped back and gave a fair analysis on the rapidly changing mobile ecosystem,” said Hodny Benazzi, general manager of CM and founder of Mobile Convention London. “The event will be back in 2016 at Church House, as an even bigger brand.”

Robin Parker, general manager, Church House, added that London’s growing reputation in the field of technology lent to the success of the event.

“London is becoming a global hub for technology, so it is fantastic news for the city that the organizers recognized its contributions to this booming industry by holding their event in London, and at Church House. As a venue which prides itself on offering clients the latest technology, it was fascinating to see the array of mobile solutions on display during Mobile Convention London,” Parker commented. “Events are becoming more interactive as organizations seek to improve delegate engagement and increase their return on investment. I’m sure we will see some of the gadgets on display integrated into more meetings and events held at Church House in the very near future.”

Situated in the heart of Westminster, Church House Conference Centre is one of London’s most versatile event venues. Its 19 flexible event spaces, which accommodate between 2 and 664 guests, have the capacity to host a wide variety of events including meetings, conferences, awards ceremonies, gala dinners and receptions.
