InfoComm’s Live Hands-On Day covered topics including lighting for video in large venues, acoustic intelligibility, video playback and display, projection, video camera techniques and the latest in laser projection.
The event was organized by InfoComm International, the trade association representing the professional audio visual and information communications industries worldwide. Event sponsors and supports include Canon Europe, Green Hippo Limited, NEC Display Solutions United Kingdom, Panasonic and Shure Systems Group, Jacobs Massey, Church House conference Centre, Creative Technology and Creative Staging.
Chris Lavelle, regional director, UK and Ireland commented, “The aim of our training courses is to provide audio visual processionals with the tools they need to produce exceptional experiences. Therefore it is important to choose venues which offer the latest in audio visual technology. We chose Church House Conference Centre for our latest training day because it is a prime example of events excellence with an award-winning in-house audio visual team.”
Ian Locke, AV manager at Church House Conference Centre, commented, “As members of InfoComm, we are extremely pleased and proud to have been chosen to facilitate this event. Church House is looking to upgrade its AV equipment in the coming month so the workshops were a great opportunity for us to learn. Seeing the newest products from NEC, Panasonic, Shure and Green Hippo have also gave an insight into the latest technologies. The people from InfoComm have been amazing to work with and we look forward to welcoming them back soon!”
