Representing over 103,500 individuals in the meetings, convention and exhibition industry, the Convention Industry Council (CIC) is accepting nominations for the 2014 Hall of Leaders class.
“For three decades, CIC’s Hall of Leaders [program] has honored outstanding leaders and innovators whose contributions have shaped the industry and whose efforts continue [to] inspire and improve it,” said CIC CEO Karen Kotowski, CAE, CMP. “And on the heels of the very successful 2013 Hall of Leaders Awards Gala, held for the first time in conjunction with IMEX America in Las Vegas, CIC is now looking for the next class of forward thinkers and risk-takers.”
Established in 2012, The Pacesetter Award has recognized seven emerging leaders whose recent accomplishments speak highly of where the industry is and chart a course for where it is headed.
Those chosen to receive this distinguished honor will be formally announced in spring 2014 and inducted at an awards ceremony later in the year.
