CON/AGG Badges Gain Free Access to Monorail

The Las Vegas Monorail announces CONEXPO-CON/AGG and IFPE, to be held in Las Vegas March 10-14, will include unlimited Monorail rides via 3-day and 7-day passes embedded into every attendee’s and exhibitor’s registration badge. Having Monorail fare integrated into event badges represents a welcome added value for attendees; it makes riding the system even more convenient while enabling them to avoid congested roadways.

This year’s CONEXPO-CON/AGG has events taking place at two stops along the route: the Las Vegas Festival Grounds, conveniently accessed from the Sahara Las Vegas station, and the Las Vegas Convention Center. This fact ensures the Monorail will provide the single most convenient way to navigate the sprawling tradeshow expected to draw nearly 130,000 attendees from around the globe.

“Three years ago, our partners at CONEXPO-CON/AGG understood immediately how an integrated Monorail ticket improved convenience and access when more of their attendees than ever utilized our system,” says Ingrid Reisman, vice president and chief marketing officer, Las Vegas Monorail. “As a complimentary benefit, this partnership provides a valuable transportation alternative that doesn’t rely on the roadways in the corridor. This year, with two tradeshow locations connected by Monorail stations, we look forward to being able to provide even more convenience and connectivity.”

Another exciting development for meetings and conventions groups: when Caesars Forum, the new 500,000-square-foot conference and events center located at the Harrah’s/The LINQ station, opens March 18, the Monorail will count three major convention facilities and one major outdoor festival destination along its route. Along with the Las Vegas Convention Center and Las Vegas Festival Grounds, the Monorail also directly serves the MGM Grand Conference Center.

The Las Vegas Monorail provides a quick and convenient connection along the Las Vegas Strip, linking riders to world-class restaurants, shows, shops, day/nightclubs, spas, hotels and casinos. In minutes, Monorail riders can travel the famous Las Vegas Strip in a safe, comfortable and clean environment without the hassles of traffic or wasted time. Currently, the privately funded Monorail system includes seven stations: MGM Grand; Bally’s/Paris Las Vegas; Flamingo/Caesars Palace; Harrah’s/The LINQ; Las Vegas Convention Center; Westgate Resort & Casino and SAHARA Las Vegas. Las Vegas’ “green” public transportation choice, the Monorail’s electric trains are zero-emission vehicles. For more info, visit www.LVMonorail.com
