Launched by the Vilnius Convention Bureau, CONVENE is an annual two-day B2B, fully hosted buyer program for the meetings industry of the Baltic countries. To take place Feb. 10-11, 2016, in Vilnius, Lithuania, around 100 exhibitors, including convention bureaus, hotels, conference centers, special venues, DMCs, PCOs, specialist suppliers from the region, present their meeting products and services to more than 160 qualified buyers. The event is supported by a major professional education program and a series of high quality business networking events.

For the second year in a row, tmf owner Johanna Fischer will be showcasing her expertise in meetings PR and new communication, through a series of informative sessions.
At CONVENE 2015, Johanna Fischer, gave an overview on the German outbound meetings market and insights about using digital content in B2B Communication.
“CONVENE is a very important tradeshow for the international MICE business and a great chance for the Baltic Sea region to get more known in the industry,” said Fischer.
CONVENE 2015 witnessed 157 hosted buyers from 29 countries and more than 3,500 appointments by VIP visitors from Lithuania. Almost 600 visitors participated in the professional education program in which 21 sessions were offered. Furthermore, CONVENE 2015 registered more exhibitors than the years before with Denmark, Ukraine and Slovakia participating for the first time and the exhibitors comprising of 11 different countries.
