Corcoran Expositions Names Daniel Corcoran as Chief Operating Officer

daniel-corcoranDaniel Corcoran has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer at Corcoran Exhibitions, it was recently announced.

Dan joined Corcoran Expositions in 2009 and most recently was sales director &, where he recruited, hired, trained and managed a team of eight sales associates; oversaw sales of 1.1 million square feet of exhibit space valued at $35 million dollars; and developed a sales schedule covering 36 expositions.

Dan also serves as an exhibit manager for association clients, responsible for day-to-day contact, managing the exhibit hall portion of their meetings and developing and executing an annual sales plan to market their exhibitions.

In this new role, Dan will oversee the day-to-day operations of the company including exhibit management, exhibit sales, show operations and show accounting. In addition, Dan will be responsible for setting company goals, strategic planning, and operational performance.

Dan holds an MBA from the DePaul University Charles H. Kellstadt Graduate School of Business and a BS in civil engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Dan is a member of International Association of Exhibitions and Events.
