CORT Event Furnishings celebrates Lounge22 at Forty One North Hotel

CORT Event Furnishings, an event furniture, lighting and accessories rental company, celebrated the launch of Lounge22 Powered by CORT with event designer Richard Carbotti of Perfect Surroundings. Hundreds of event professionals attended the VIP event at the recently renovated Forty One North Hotel in Newport, Rhode Island.

CORT presented two new offerings from Lounge22, the Essex Collection and Jettison lighted tables. The Essex Collection, a two-tone sofa and chair, gives a fresh look to the Hollywood glamour craze in events. The event also featured Carbotti’s eclectic event design.

Lounge22 Powered by CORT and create a fabulous event,” said Laurie Stroll, president of Newport Hospitality Inc. “The party was a great way to kick off our season in Newport and show everyone what can be done when you combine all the great resources in the event industry.”

The Asian-inspired décor, supplied by Perfect Surroundings and Aardvark Antiques, reflected an Eastern Zen meets progressive modern theme. The event also featured red lighted bars from CORT’s Luna Lighting Collection adorned with CORT’s Luna Transformations in the Dynasty pattern.

“Lounge22 is CORT’s high-end luxury brand and represents the pinnacle of style in event rental furnishings,” said Steve Peck, national director of event sales for CORT. “Richard Carbotti and his team fused modern pieces from the Lounge22 collection with visual iconography representing thousands of years of Eastern history and created something truly special.”

Lounge22 Powered by CORT is available in New York, Boston, Southern California and Las Vegas. This summer, the collection will be available in Chicago, Dallas, Seattle and San Francisco.
