CORT supports events ranging from the red carpet and the U.N. Peace Conference, to the Dallas Cowboys stadium grand opening.

CORT Event Furnishings, an event furniture, lighting and accessories rental company, provided furniture for the greenroom at the 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards on September 18 at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.

Award nominees and presenters relaxed in the greenroom while fans watched at home on Emmys.com Backstage LIVE, an online broadcast that ran throughout the awards.

“We knew the Lounge22 Powered by CORT collection was the right look for our talent greenroom this year,” said Kristen Merlino, art director for the Emmy Awards. “The high-profile guests at the Emmys demand style and comfort, which CORT delivers with exceptional flexibility.”

Producers for the Emmys chose sofas, chairs and tables from the Lounge22 Bali product suite, a gallery collection with a functional design intended to evoke a mid-century motif.

“CORT was honored the show producers recognized the trend-setting Lounge22 brand was uniquely suited to complement a high profile event requiring modern, sophisticated designs,” said Mike Davis, group vice president for CORT Event Furnishings. “This experience gives us the expertise to assure client satisfaction in any situation.”

“There are so many varying factors that event planners must consider, and CORT works to ensure furniture rental is one item they have absolutely no concerns about,” said Davis. “From drop-off to pick-up and everything in between, we handle the pressure of furniture so that designers don’t have to.”

In fact, CORT has recently announced that the Lounge22 collection is now offered in Northern California, the Pacific Northwest and Texas.

“The Lounge22 collection is designed to be mixed and matched in various combinations to create environments that are limited only by the designers’ imagination,” said Davis. “CORT’s style is equally matched by its flexibility.”

CORT also recently introduced two new product offerings from Lounge22, the Essex Collection and Jettison lighted tables.

“Customers in the major urban centers of these markets, including San Francisco, Seattle, Dallas, Houston and Austin, demand trend-setting rental furnishings and the Lounge22 luxury brand serves those needs,” said Kevin Dana, director of marketing and product development for CORT. “We’re excited to continue setting the standard for innovation in furniture rentals in more regions across the U.S.
