Rev Up Your Engines and Customize Your Enterprise
Our program opens with a keynote from motorcycle master, Paul Teutul Jr., widely recognized as the chief designer and fabricator of some of the world’s most famous motorcycles, and known to enthusiasts through his hit television series, American Chopper. Paul is an expert in design and fabrication, and he will kickstart our thoughts on showcasing clients’ brands on the show floor and at events.
On day two, Jonna Mendez, a former Chief of Disguise in the CIA’s Office of Technical Service, will start the morning. Ms. Mendez was a specialist in clandestine photography. Her 27-year career, for which she earned the CIA’s Intelligence Commendation Medal, included operational disguise responsibilities in the most hostile theaters of the Cold War, from Havana to Beijing to Moscow and ultimately into the Oval Office.
Next is Dr. Tracey Wilen, a researcher and speaker on the impact of technology on society, work, and careers. She will address The Future of Work. Workers and the workplace are changing like never before, and Dr. Wilen will share her insights to help us understand the evolving work environment.
Additional keynote speakers include Jeremy Bess, who will provide an economist’s view of the future, Han Leenhouts, who will explore the impact of artificial intelligence on our industry, and Jane Gentry, who will provide food for thought and stimulate discussion about the changing workplace.
EDPA Looks to the Future
Thanks to the ongoing efforts of Liz Nacron, a partner at Live Marketing, the flourishing Future Leaders Group will welcome another influx of young talent. The agenda will also include the EDPA Compensation and Economic Study, as well as legacy sessions like CFO Insight, Designer Issues Forum, and Management Issues Forum. The State of the Association will underscore EDPA’s commitment to the future of the industry, and Jessica Sibila will report on the work of The Exhibitor Advocate. The new sustainability standards will also be introduced to the entire membership.
Golf and Fishing
Of course, EDPA ACCESS wouldn’t be the same without a golf outing, and this year, our fishing excursion returns. Sign up for both on the event website.
The EDPA ACCESS Annual Golf Scramble ($350 per person—includes coffee, a boxed lunch, and one drink ticket) will take place at the Raymond Floyd-designed Saltleaf Golf Preserve. The fishing excursion (also $325 per person) on the back bay combines stunning scenery with the opportunity to catch redfish, snapper, snook, and more.
Sponsorships
We have some attractive sponsorship opportunities available—or perhaps you would like to create your own. So, get started—or call us if you want to incorporate an idea into the ACCESS program. Let’s get together to brainstorm ways to Customize Your Enterprise.
