dmg events USA, the unit of dmg events that is responsible for digital-marketing businesses, promoted a tradeshow industry veteran to managing director of the Collective Group.
Having full P&L responsibility of 16 annual conferences tailored to high-level marketing executives is Nicole Buraglio, who previously worked as marketing director for dmg events USA’s two ad:tech North America events.
“Nicole’s marketing and event industry experience, combined with her diverse career path, makes her a perfect fit to lead this business,” said Amy Allen, executive vice president, dmg events USA. “I have confidence in Nicole’s leadership and her ability to successfully grow this franchise.”
Buraglio has spent her 16-year career marketing events of all sizes. Most recently, at Hanley Wood Exhibitions as director of eMedia, she managed the sales, marketing, operations and technology of the digital business across the company’s 18 annual events. She also led the divisional marketing team in operational efficiencies and systems implementation and training.
“While the foundation of my career is marketing, I have been immersed in all aspects of tradeshows and events from the start,” said Buraglio. “I’m looking forward to embracing The Collective Group brand and working with a strong and committed team to continue to serve the audience and create successful events.”
Actively participating in the American Marketing Association (AMA) and DFW Interactive Marketing Association (DFWIMA), Buraglio also sits on the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) DFW Chapter Board and serves on the Maritz Travel Advisory Board. She is a frequent contributor to tradeshow industry publications and guest speaker at marketing, tradeshow and technology conferences.
