WORCESTER, MA— BlueHive Exhibits is excited to announce the hiring of Don Schmid as Account Director for BlueHive’s in-house healthcare division, BlueMed. Schmid brings over 40 years of award-winning trade show execution and marketing strategy experience to the BlueHive team.
An established industry leader, Schmid has led many teams from some of the top healthcare companies in the world, most notably as Global Congress Lead for Pfizer Corporation and Director of Global Exhibits for GE Healthcare. In his role with BlueHive as Account Director, Schmid will be a strategic, hands-on liaison between BlueHive’s healthcare and pharmaceutical industry clients, their respective agencies, as well as internal creative, production, and logistic teams to ensure projects meet BlueHive clients’ expectations, delivered on time and within budget.
In addition to earning an MBA in Marketing, Schmid has also held the position of President, Executive board of Director for the Health Care Exhibitors Association (HCEA), has earned the Gold Ex Award for Best Integrated Trade Show Marketing Campaign (Hospira – ASHP, 2012), is a Certified Manager of Exhibits/Healthcare (CME/H), a member of the Exhibits and Event Marketers Association (E2MA), and is a Certified Trade Show Marketer (CTSM Gold) by Northern Illinois University/Exhibitor Magazine.
