Durango Casino & Resort Receives AAA’s Celebrated Four Diamond Designation

LAS VEGAS, NV. – Durango Casino & Resort has received the coveted AAA Four Diamond designation. The luxury resort by Station Casinos, inspired by the warm colors of the desert and heritage of Las Vegas, has attained this prestigious honor in less than three months following the official opening.

“We are honored to receive the acclaimed Four Diamond designation from AAA in a remarkably brief period,” said David Horn, Vice President and General Manager of Durango Casino & Resort. “This accolade underscores the dedication of our team and leadership to deliver exceptional hospitality and heartfelt service to our guests throughout their stay.”

Durango Casino & Resort is part of a select group representing the top tier of the hospitality industry in North America. There are roughly 1,700 hotels and 500 restaurants on the AAA Four Diamond list. Hotels at this level, about 7% of the nearly 23,000 AAA Diamond lodgings, are noted for their upscale style and amenities enhanced with the right touch of service. To earn the impressive AAA Four Diamond designation, hotels and restaurants must pass a rigorous evaluation that includes unannounced, in-person visits by AAA’s expert inspectors.

“AAA is pleased to recognize Durango Casino & Resort with the Four Diamond designation, meaning its unwavering attention to both service and surroundings have placed it into the upper tier of AAA’s Diamond Program,” said Stacey Barber, AAA Travel Executive Director. “To maintain the exceptional standards required for this designation on a daily basis is an outstanding achievement. Four Diamond hotels and restaurants are attentive to guests’ needs and consistently deliver memorable travel and dining experiences.”

Having opened Dec. 5 2023, Durango Casino & Resort is inspired by the heritage of Las Vegas and imbued with a sense of discovery. Known by locals and visitors alike for creating best-in-class resorts, restaurants and entertainment, Station Casinos’ newest development is inspired by the warm colors and vibrant landscapes of the desert.
