EACA Launches New App for the Events Industry
REDMOND, Ore., Oct. 1, 2026 — The Exhibitor Appointed Contractor Association (EACA) is launching the EACA App, a new mobile platform designed to put the power of the event community directly into the hands of the people who make events happen.
The idea behind the app is simple:
What if you could put the event community in your pocket?
For exhibitors and event professionals, some of the most difficult challenges happen at the worst possible time—during show setup.
Something is missing. An unexpected problem develops. A local resource is needed. Or someone simply needs advice from a person who has dealt with the same situation before.
The EACA App provides a new way to ask for help.
Members experiencing a problem during show setup can use the app to reach out to the local event community for ideas, recommendations, resources and support. Instead of trying to solve a problem alone, users can tap into the collective experience of professionals who may be working nearby or who know the local market.
“Some of the best resources in our industry are the people around us,” said Jim Wurm, Executive Director of EACA. “Our industry has an incredible amount of experience and knowledge, but we haven’t always had an easy way to access it when and where we need it. The EACA App is designed to change that. It really is the event community in your pocket.”
The app reflects a principle that has long been at the heart of EACA: our industry works better when we work together.
A challenge that might take one person hours to solve may be something another member of the community has encountered many times before. A resource that is difficult for an out-of-town exhibitor to locate may be well known to someone who works in that city every day.
The EACA App creates a way to make those connections happen.
And while real-time problem solving is an important feature, the larger vision extends well beyond troubleshooting. The app is designed to strengthen connections among EACA members and the event community at large—giving professionals a place to exchange knowledge, share resources, build relationships and support one another.
“We want this to become more than an app,” Wurm added. “We want it to become a community resource. When someone in our industry needs an answer, a recommendation or a helping hand, we want them to know there is a community they can turn to.”
Get the EACA App. It’s available for all members and the event community and can be found at www.app.eaca.com.
