Eagle Management Group (Eagle) will take over Octane’s staff and ongoing projects starting September 19, effectively ending Octane’s operations as a standalone company. The move brings Octane’s team into Eagle’s existing labor network and allows both firms to continue serving clients without interruption.
Eagle will also take over any active jobs previously handled by Octane. The company has not said how many workers are joining the team or whether any Octane managers will stay on in leadership roles.
“This is more than just a business move—it’s about honoring the hard work and reputation Octane has built while bringing their team into Eagle’s future,” said David Holloway, president of Eagle Management Group. “By welcoming Octane’s skilled professionals into our organization, we’re expanding our capabilities and reinforcing what matters most—our people. Together, we are prepared to deliver even more innovative solutions, responsive service, and outstanding results for our clients nationwide.”
Eagle provides labor and management services for tradeshows, corporate events, and road tours. Founded in 1987 by Joe and Steve Matranga, the company was one of the first independent labor providers in the industry. Today, it manages more than 3,000 events annually and operates in 34 cities across the United States.
Eagle says all in-progress work will continue without disruption, and clients will still have access to labor in the same cities where Octane previously operated.
The move adds to Eagle’s workforce in several cities and supports the company’s long-term growth plans, according to Holloway.
