The International Association of Exhibitions and EventsTM (IAEE) reports that despite a sputtering global economy, early registration numbers for Expo! Expo! have exceeded expectations. IAEE’s Annual Meeting and Exhibition shows a 12 percent increase in the total number of exhibition organizers that have registered to attend, compared to this time last year.
Both the association show organizer and public show organizer categories are heavy contributors to this increase with a 38 percent and 63 percent increase respectively over this time in 2009.
“The hard numbers speak for themselves, and by all indications, Expo! Expo! will host the key decision makers and senior executives who will attend and focus on making the consequential business deals which will shape the industry in 2011, ” Steven Hacker, CAE, IAEE president.
Eager to meet this exhibition organizer contingent are the nearly 260 exhibitors who have reserved space on the Expo! Expo! show floor which will be open on Wednesday, December 8 at 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., and is 97 percent reserved already.
“Expo! Expo! will give exhibitors face-to-face access to potential worldwide customers from the association, corporate, independent and consumer exhibitions, and events markets, all under one roof,” said Julie Anderson, CAE, CEM, IAEE director of exhibitions.
Innovation will be unmasked at the industry’s must-attend event through provocative educational programming, premier networking opportunities, fresh ideas in event marketing, and the latest technologies in face-to-face events revealing truly unique concepts for all attendees.
Registration for Expo! Expo! is now open for the event which takes place December 7-9, 2010 in New Orleans.
