ECA Announces its 2023 Legislative Action Day

This year, the The Exhibitions & Conferences Alliance (ECA) Legislative Action Day will take place in-person in Washington, DC on Thursday, June 1.

ECA’s 2023 Legislative Action Day will bring advocates and leaders from the meetings and events industry to DC so that they can meet members of Congress about the ECA’s federal policy priorities and the industry’s role in spurring economic growth, supporting job creation and empowering small businesses.

“After four long years, I can’t wait to finally welcome the industry back to Washington, D.C. for ECA Legislative Action Day,” says Vinnie Polito, ECA Co-President. “Nothing beats meeting face-to-face, and that goes for advocacy, too. That’s why it is so important for us to be in Washington, D.C. on June 1 to meet with our elected officials about the policy issues that matter.”

The ECA Legislative Action Day will be held in conjunction with the Lippman Connects Exhibition and Convention Executives Forum (ECEF), which will take place on Wednesday, May 31. ECEF is an information-sharing and networking event for leaders at associations and independent organizers, and ECA is pleased to recognize Lippman Connects as one of its 2023 Legislative Action Day platinum sponsors.

“It is imperative for our industry to be heard on Capitol Hill, and ECEF pledges to do all it can to support ECA in this all-important initiative,” adds Sam Lippman, President of Lippman Connects and producer of ECEF.
