Never one to pass up a party, ECN headed to the new branch, warehouse warming for TLS Productions, Inc., on October 28 for cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and a chance to meet the TLS family. Production manager Dan LaPorte is based in Las Vegas along with Toby the Warehouse Tiger (both pictured left) with Brei. LaPorte, inspired by his involvement with high school theater and at the Community College of Southern Nevada, became a member of IATSE Local 720 in 2002. He has since worked on a wide range of events including live television, movies, network TV series, award shows, concerts, red carpets events, conventions, trade shows, and theater – gaining 15 years of experience as a programmer, head electrician, and crew chief alongside 10 years as a lighting designer and master electrician.
