EDPA Expands & Hires New Executive Director

The Experiential Designers & Producers Association is expanding and has hired Dasher Lowe in the role of executive director while Jeff Provost and his PRO Management team will continue to support Lowe with management of membership details and the planning and execution of EDPA’s annual ACCESS and ENGAGE conferences.

Lowe is an executive-level marketing professional with more than 25 years of experience in developing and leading integrated marketing strategies and programs. His agency experience in business unit growth and leading new business development efforts aligns well with the association’s goal of expanding their membership through all experiential face-to-face platforms.

“Dasher brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the EDPA at a time when we are looking to both grow the organization and focus our attention on the development of experiential marketing and branding,” says Donna Shultz, president of the EDPA board of directors. “His background and reputation for excellence will fit in very well with our desire to elevate and transform this trade organization to new heights.”

In this position, Lowe will be responsible for activities relating to the roles of association ambassador, board governance, financial performance, organizational vision and strategy and overall operations. The association is looking to grow through education, advocacy, networking and support by creating unique experiences and opportunities for its members.  He will report to the EDPA board of directors.

Lowe says, “I am looking forward to supporting our members and the initiatives we undertake on their behalf. This organization has a long-standing culture of generosity, collaboration and giving back. I believe there is a bright future for the EDPA as we expand membership and take on new challenges. I am looking forward to it!”

The mission of the EDPA is to advance the interests of members engaged in the design, production and service of exhibits, events and experiential environments. The success and integrity of the industry is enhanced through advocacy, communication, education and good works. For more info, visit www.edpa.com.
