The 9th Annual Las Vegas Scholarship Golf Classic has been postponed until further notice. The tournament was scheduled for June 10th, 2011 at the Rhodes Ranch Golf Club in Las Vegas, Nev.
The Las Vegas Chapter of the EDPA is still working with the EDPA Foundation to produce the event, which was scheduled to include golf, goody bags, door prizes, a continental breakfast and an awards luncheon with a deluxe menu of open grilled items.
According to a statement released by the Board of Directors of the EDPA Las Vegas Chapter, the tournament has been postponed to an undetermined date this fall. EDPA members will be notified once a new date has been confirmed.
“Like you, we at the EDPA Las Vegas Chapter have been incredibly busy,” said the statement released by the board. “We have received a great deal of feedback regarding our current June 10th date for the golf tournament. There has been some concern over everyone’s work load at the present time, which is a blessing considering the last couple of years! We want to ensure that everyone who participates in the tournament is able to come, relax and enjoy their time. For this reason, we have decided to postpone.”
The EDPA Las Vegas Chapter still has several mixers scheduled for the coming months.
Born out of the desert at the base of Spring Mountain and located just minutes from the Las Vegas strip, the Rhodes Ranch Golf Club was designed by renowned architect Ted Robinson to appeal to golfers of all skill levels.
