The Las Vegas chapter of the Exhibit Designers and Producers Association is increasing its donations to the third annual Whitney Elementary School Charity Drive. The school, located on the east side of the Las Vegas Valley, is home to some of the most financially challenged children in the valley. At one time 100 percent of the students qualified for food assistance.
EDPA’s Las Vegas chapter has made a commitment is to provide 100 turkeys and 200 food baskets for both Thanksgiving and Christmas and are accepting credit card, cash and check donations for the perishable items, turkeys, pies and rolls. In Las Vegas, interested parties can also make a monetary donation for the pantry items or drop off items at LV Expo, 4015 East Post Road, Las Vegas, NV 89120 by 5 p.m. on Nov. 12 for Thanksgiving donations and by 10:30 a.m. Dec. 17 for Christmas donations.
Those in Las Vegas who want to help build food baskets should contact jen@classicexhibits.com to volunteer for either delivery day, Tuesday, Nov. 13, or Monday, Dec. 17.
“Every donation makes a huge difference by helping us to provide food for the families of our community partner Whitney Elementary School,” says a statement by the organization.
