Up-and-coming designers present their final projects to industry professionals in EDPA Midwest’s annual Design Challenge.

EDPA Midwest invites industry members to its 2024 Student Design Showcase, the final event in the organization’s annual Design Challenge program with Carthage College. This year’s event will take place on Thursday, November 21, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Itasca Country Club, located at 400 E Orchard St. in Itasca, Illinois.
Throughout the Design Challenge, senior graphic design students from Carthage College worked with industry mentors to develop projects meeting the requirements of a professional creative brief. At the showcase, the students will present their final designs to a panel of industry experts, who will select a grand prize winner based on how well each design aligns with the brief’s specifications.

Tickets for the showcase include dinner, with the following options:
- Attendee – Chicken Dinner: $70.00 (plus $1.75 service fee)
- Attendee – Veggie Dinner: $70.00 (plus $1.75 service fee)
The showcase provides an excellent opportunity for industry professionals to network with emerging designers and support the next generation of talent in exhibit and experiential design. Attendees will also connect with peers, enjoy dinner, and celebrate the students’ creativity and hard work.
