Employco USA, Inc. of Westmont, Ill., has acquired controlling interest of FirstSourceHR Inc., a human resources outsourcing company in St. Petersburg.
The two companies will co-brand as a result of the deal, said Peter VanSon, who founded FirstSourceHR in January. VanSon will maintain the St. Petersburg office and continue to use the FirstSourceHR brand in the local area.
Employco is well known in the tradeshow industry, providing human resource, benefits administration, payroll processing and workers’ compensation services to about 400 small and mid-size companies. The acquisition will allow Employco to expand into the Florida market.
“In addition to adding to its national platform, Employco will have access to the growing Florida PEO market, which will benefit clients with interests in Florida” said Rob Wilson, Employco president.
