An all-inclusive mobile application enabling visitors to the Duke Energy Convention Center in Cincinnati to better navigate the facility and obtain current information on events and potential site emergencies is available for free download.
The mobile application, called “Cincy Live,” will enhance the experience for both exhibitors and guests to the center and is designed to provide them with all the information they need at their finger tips. From building layout to frequently asked questions, the application is beneficial to anyone needing to maneuver within the center and learn more about things to do while in Cincinnati.
“The app gives visitors to Cincinnati, and the center, a great resource for everything our city has to offer,” said Ric Booth, general manager, Duke Energy Convention Center. “We wanted to make visitors aware of the endless opportunities, and make it easily assessable. The app does exactly that and much more.”
The “center info” portion of the mobile application will share information about emergency situations, directions and parking, restroom, escalator and elevator locations, floor plans, facts and even includes a guided art tour of pieces displayed at the center. There is a unique segment devoted to food and beverage, giving a background of Cincinnati brands and a brief overview of Ovations, the on-site food provider of the building.
The “exhibitor services” portion of the application contains information regarding order forms, policies and procedures, and helps to thoroughly and quickly answer frequently asked questions. The center has included the capability for events to purchase a segment within the Cincy Live app to include all of their event information.
The mobile application also gives an overview of local Cincinnati restaurants, shops and attractions around the area. It contains extensive information on where to stay, ways to get around and suggestions on how to explore the city. It includes various attractions, such as the local zoo, museums, family-friendly spots, parks, sports, local happenings and more.
