Epsilon Registration releases new online registration system

Epsilon Registration, provider of meeting registration technology and services, announced the release of version 4.1 of its EReg ™ online registration software.

The new software is a complete rewrite and replacement for the earlier versions. It is built on a new Java component-based framework, which means that it is even more flexible than ever, and can be customized for clients much more easily and economically.

“We are pleased to be able to make the new software available to all of our clients,” said Charles Karow, director of operations. “Selected clients have been using it for several months and have been very happy with its new look and features. We are now free from some legacy code that was not easy to maintain and had reliability problems.”

The new software takes advantage of recent technology and makes more information available to clients more easily. Data that was scattered over several different screens in the old system is now available on one screen, giving clients an at-a-glance view of accounts without sacrificing the details. This reduces the amount of navigation and time required to manage the registration for a meeting of any type.

Clients have found there are far fewer customer service calls from people having difficulty registering through the new software, since the registration forms are easier to understand and use. When calls come in they are more quickly handled since customer account information is more complete and easier to find.
