DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION AWARD – IT STUDIO DESIGN
IT Studio Design is a company whose steadfast commitment to diversity, inclusion, and equality has not only been a foundational value from its inception but has also been a driving force behind remarkable growth and positive change. Their mission extends far beyond geographical borders. IT Studio Design has become a beacon for diverse organizations worldwide, providing them with a platform to participate and showcase their cultural significance at trade shows across North America. In doing so, they have become architects of a more inclusive stage where diverse voices resonate and flourish. One shining example of their commitment is their impactful partnership with TFO Canada, a non-profit organization dedicated to implementing the Women in Trade for Inclusive and Sustainable Growth (WIT) project in 24 developing countries globally. This visionary initiative, funded by Global Affairs Canada, focuses on increasing women’s participation in international trade and promoting the growth of women-led Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). IT Studio Design, has played a pivotal role in supporting TFO Canada’s mission, particularly in the design and construction of country pavilions. This contribution has been instrumental in facilitating market access for women-led SMEs, showcasing how design and inclusivity can come together to create tangible opportunities. It is with great pride we recognize IT Studio Design for their outstanding dedication to diversity, inclusion, and equality. Their work stands as a testament to the transformative power of embracing these principles, fostering growth, and creating a more inclusive world.
LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD – AARON BLUDWORTH
Aaron Bludworth, is a visionary leader whose extraordinary journey has been marked by diverse achievements and invaluable contributions. Aaron’s illustrious career in the exhibition industry spans over three decades, a testament to his enduring passion and dedication. His journey commenced at Modern Exposition Services in Salt Lake City, where his leadership, strategic thinking, and innovative spirit illuminated the path ahead. Over time, his professional trajectory soared, culminating in his assumption of the role of CEO and President at Fern Expo in 2008.
His strategic acumen, leadership, and unwavering advocacy for live, face-to-face events propelled Fern into the limelight, offering innovative services to clients of all sizes. Aaron’s forward-thinking approach ensured that the company embraced digital tools and platforms that revolutionized the exhibition experience, making it more engaging and accessible for exhibitors and organizers. Pioneering solutions like OneView, 1Rate, and Fern Health Check have transformed the industry landscape.
Aaron has been a steadfast advocate for the significance of the exhibition industry. He actively engaged with policymakers at the local, state, and national levels, ensuring that the industry’s interests were prioritized. Embracing the spirit of giving back, Aaron personally dedicated years of service to various industry organizations, including CEIR and ESCA, ultimately serving as Chairperson of both. Furthermore, he actively contributed to multiple DMOs and community-based organizations. Within Fern, he championed the importance of volunteering, instituting a VTO policy that allowed employees to give back to their communities without using traditional PTO.
Aaron Bludworth’s journey is a tapestry woven with leadership, innovation, advocacy, and a profound commitment to giving back. His impact on the exhibition industry is not just about business success; it is about shaping a future where collaboration, technology, and community engagement are at the forefront.
