Illinois – The Exhibition Services & Contractors Association (ESCA) is thrilled to announce its participation with fellow members of the Exhibitions Industry Collective and premier industry bodies to launch the inaugural Exhibitions Industry Awareness Week, which took place from 20-23 February.
“ESCA is committed to shaping the future of the exhibitions and events sector by introducing and educating prospective talents about the opportunities within our field,” stated Julie Kagy, CEM, Executive Director of ESCA. “Initiatives like the Exhibitions Industry Awareness Week, are crucial components of ESCA’s strategic agenda, embodying our collective goal with leading organizations to foster industry growth. We extend our sincere gratitude to the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) for their significant contributions and leadership in orchestrating this pivotal event. Their dedication and diligence work were instrumental in the week’s success, and we are deeply appreciative of their efforts for their efforts.”
The week was dedicated to showcasing the exhibitions industry as a viable career choice to students, academics, individuals seeking a new career direction, and professionals across various sectors. It provided an overview of the industry, detailing available job roles, salary prospects, necessary skills, and training opportunities.
