ESCA Donates $50,000 to Go Live Together Coalition

The Exhibition Services & Contractors Association is pleased to announce a $50,000 contribution to the Go Live Together Coalition in support of the exhibition, meetings and events industry.

Go LIVE Together has assembled leaders from across the diverse and vibrant live events ecosystem to drive local, state and federal legislative actions that will not only be critical to our ability to put millions of people back to work, but also for our country’s economic recovery. Every event industry recovery dollar will lead to incremental spending on travel, hotels and restaurants, supporting Main Street merchants decimated by COVID-19. Live events industry legislative relief will serve as its own “stimulus package” because funds will be used to rekindle both an important economic sector and many connected companies. Our industry was producing tens of thousands of events per year before COVID-19, so the economic impact of live events cannot be overstated.

Neil McMullin, ESCA president, says, “On behalf of ESCA’s Board of Directors and our member organizations, I’d like to announce our support of Go LIVE Together and its mission to build a coalition advocating for the protection of the events industry. The collective voice of our industry is more effective than any individual organization or association. Our community has set aside normal and healthy competition and joined together to enlighten our elected officials about the power of exhibitions and events.”

Since 1970, the Exhibition Services & Contractors Association has provided a unified voice for service contractors and their partners in the exhibition industry. Currently, ESCA has more than 160 member companies throughout the U.S., Canada and Mexico, and it maintains alliances with IAEE, TSEA and CEIR to promote the exhibition industry. ESCA is dedicated to the advancement of the exhibition, meetings and special events industries. Through the education, information exchange and level of professionalism shared by members and their customers, ESCA promotes cooperation among all areas of the exhibition industry.
