Due to increased exhibit space demand, EuroCIS 2015, a trade fair for retail technology, will be held in two halls at the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany.
Five months before that start of the event, Feb. 24-26, 2015, more than 75,340 square feet of net floor space have already been booked — more than the final total sold exhibit space at the last staging in 2013 (66,650 square feet net). About 250 exhibitors from 25 countries will present ideas, products, systems and solutions for the retail sector.
The combination of offline and online retail and stationary retail and e-commerce will be of even more importance at EuroCIS 2015 than at previous events. The wide range of exhibits will cover the entire retail-specific IT sector: Multi-channel and omni-channel management, business analytics and big data, payment systems, e-commerce and e-business solutions, ERP and supply chain management, mobile solutions and technologies, POS software and hardware as well as checkout management, digital marketing and digital signage, workforce management, loss prevention, cash management, retail security, weighing technology and food service.
More than 7,000 visitors from more than 40 countries are expected to attend EuroCIS 2015. In addition to the exhibits, attendees can look forward to the EuroCIS Forum, offering presentations on interesting developments in retail technology. Recent case studies, innovations and trends will be shared by exhibitors and their customers in German and English.
Multi-Channel Area has been a successful part of EuroCIS since 2012 and will be expanded even further in 2015 as it will include a Start-up Zone for newcomers to the industry. Visitors will also benefit from recent practical case studies and future projections, which will be discussed at the integrated Multi-Channel Forum in German and English.
The highlight of the accompanying program will be the presentation of the Retail Technology Europe Awards (Reta Europe) by the EHI Retail Institute on Feb. 24, 2015. These awards will be presented for outstanding and innovative use of IT in retail. On Feb. 25, 2015, the EHI and GS1 Retail Science Award ceremony will take place. This award is given for exceptional scientific work, which picks up innovative ideas and allows application in retail.
