From February 18 – 20, 2025, the European retail technology industry will meet again in Düsseldorf, Germany, to discuss forward-looking solutions and products for the retail  sector with the trade fair motto “Go beyond today”. At the end of the early booking phase, 300 exhibitors have booked over 13,000 square meters of  net exhibition space at the most relevant trade fair for retail technology in Europe. The allocation of hall space has already started.

Trade visitors from the retail and wholesale, hospitality, food service & catering, leisure, financial services and banking sectors will again be able to get information  about the latest developments in retail technology next February. EuroCIS  will offer a wide range of detailed solutions, including merchandise & supply chain management, POS software and hardware, HR, robotics, security & loss prevention, cash management and pricing.

EuroCIS 2025 will focus on these current hot topics in the retail technology sector:

  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Customer Centricity
  • Smart Store
  • Smart Energy Management
  • Cyber Security

Artificial intelligence is rapidly revolutionizing retail, for example through improved data analysis and process automation – which is of particularly importance in view of the skilled labor shortage.  Customer centricity is moving further into focus through greater personalization and the creation of a seamless shopping experience using technologies such as IoT and AI. Smart store concepts integrate modern technologies such as sensors and smart shelves to make shopping even faster and smoother. Smart energy management is an important project against the backdrop of high energy prices and sustainability efforts, while cybersecurity is crucial for protecting data and systems in the face of increasing attacks on IT structures.

In food service, digital ordering and payment systems and innovative forecasting technologies are driving the optimization of order and HR planning while the use of robotics and smart vending solutions are driving transformation. These innovations improve efficiency, the customer journey and the sustainability of the sector. Therefore,  EuroCIS 2025 will introduce a new special area specifically geared to food service in retail to showcase innovative digital solutions for the industry.

The EuroCIS supporting program will include three stages where top speakers will share exciting business insights based on practical examples from the retail sector. The fourth edition of the popular Start-Up Hub will once again offer the opportunity to meet promising newcomers and make new business contacts. In addition, the retail technology awards europe (reta) and the EHI science prize will be awarded to particularly innovative approaches. Guided Innovation Tours will give visitors the opportunity to discover leading innovations and high potentials.

For the first time, XPONENTIAL Europe will be held concurrently with EuroCIS, giving visitors an impression of the potential of autonomous systems and robotics.
