Event Production Network Expands

submitted by Leo Rommel, CMA Solutions

PRINCETON JUNCTION, N.J.— The Event Production Network (EPN), which helps meeting planners and event organizers create 30,000 memorable experiences annually with the latest AV technology, announced today that it has expanded into two of the fastest-growing markets for events: Austin, Texas, and Orlando, Fla.

The two new members are Markey’s Austin location and AV Matters in Orlando. Markey’s and AVFX, which owns AV Matters, were already EPN members. The additions increase the total number of AV/event production companies in EPN’s North American alliance to 28. EPN membership is exclusive to companies that pass a strict peer review process.

EPN is pleased to be represented in these markets by longtime member companies that bring industry expertise and leadership,” said Brad Poarch, EPN president and CEO at Cory’s. “As an invite-only network, EPN’s rigorous vetting process gives clients a competitive advantage and peace of mind knowing they’re working with the best in AV and event production.”

“In 2015, Markey’s expanded to the Austin, TX market with the intent of growing its business operations at an accelerated pace,” said Mark Miller, CEO at Markey’s. “Nine years later, our Austin team produces more than $10 million annually in gross revenue and employs more than 60 industry professionals.”

Miller also said that “adding the Austin territory to the EPN family will enhance our presence in the market and allow our leadership team direct access to EPN leaders across the network. This will benefit both our Austin team and the EPN membership.”

Matt Emerson, CEO at AVFX, echoed similar sentiments.

“I’ve long found value in a network of business owners who share knowledge and opportunities through cooperation,” Emerson said. “I’m excited and confident in the knowledge and character AV Matters brings to our network and clients.”

So, too, is Mike Evans, VP at AVFX and former owner/president of AV Matters.

“I quickly recognized the benefits that the EPN offers both its members and our clients,” Evans said. “The members are extraordinary and dedicated to the client and their needs. It’s evident that selecting an EPN partner means gaining a trusted advisor who’s supported by the collective expertise and high standards of the entire network.”
