Event Tech Live Reveals Festival and Future Stage Line-Up

Europe’s only event technology show, Event Tech Live, will be scaled up to two days when it returns to the Old Truman Brewery for its fifth edition on Nov. 7 & 8. The decision to expand the show is a product of year-on-year growth, on all fronts, coupled with a comprehensive call for more. There were 100 exhibitors at Event Tech Live in 2017 and more than 50 sessions across five stages, which brought in a record 1,600 visitors.

All the show’s major sponsors and partners, involved to a greater and greater extent since its inception, have been quick to commit to the new model ETL. The sessions across this year’s five stages are being scrupulously programmed so attendees can see everything they want to and learn something new on either or both days.

Co-founder Adam Parry has revealed a perfect line-up for the Festival and Future Stage at Event Tech Live.

Focused on solutions to organizers’ typical pinch points in the field, topics over ETL’s two days include: Using Tech To Manage Risk, The Future of Event Ticketing, How Does Your Festival Sound, the cashless conundrum, Detecting Drone Threats and the sought after Robust Internet for Outdoor Events.

Co-founder Parry says, “Festivals in this country might seem like they simply drop the needle on the record every summer but tech shoots are everywhere, during the build and back stage/on stage/front of house come show time. The speakers on the Festival and Future Stage next month, people like Peter Ward, Adam Hornblow, Lizzie Liebenhals, Duco Smit and Mark Stormont, are practiced presenters with fascinating tales to tell and I wholly recommend visitors look at the running order and get there!”

Former Event Trade magazine editor, Nic Howden, now an industry PR man at All Access Communications, hosts the stage having watched the festival model’s evolution for more than 30 years, as a punter, a critic and a champion.

Event Tech Live will be held Nov. 7 & 8 at the Old Truman Brewery in East London. For more info and to register, visit www.eventtechlive.com. To see the full program of Event Tech Live 2018 sessions, visit www.eventtechlive.com/events/calendar
