Excalibur Exhibits recognized for several awards

Recognized for three separate awards, Houston-based Excalibur Exhibits, a company that specializes in face-to-face marketing solutions for 3D environments such as tradeshows, exhibitions and corporate events, proves to be a formidable player in the tradeshow industry.

Recognized by the National Association for Business Resources (NABR) as one of Houston’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For, Excalibur Exhibits was among 65 Houston companies singled out for excelling at employee relations, use of innovation to motivate employees and the ability to implement creative compensation programs.

Evaluated by an independent research firm, each company’s entry is based on key measures in various categories including compensation, benefits and employee solutions; employee enrichment, engagement and retention; employee education and development; recruitment, selection and orientation; employee achievement and recognition; communication and shared vision; diversity and inclusion; work-life balance; community initiatives and strategic company performance.

Announced on Nov. 7 at the Bella Elegante, Excalibur Exhibits will also vie for three elite NABR awards: “The Best of the Best Overall,” “The Best of the Best Medium Business Overall” and “The Best of the Best Small Business Overall.”

Its second honor is Excalibur Exhibit’s fifth year on the list of Inc. 5000, placing the firm on Inc. Magazine’s Honor Roll. Inc. Magazine’s annual list ranked Excalibur Exhibit at 55th among companies in the Greater Houston area, and at 2,743 overall, up from 4,506 place in 2012.

“Excalibur Exhibits’ success can be attributed to our full range of strategically focused design-build, rental and event management services coupled with a process-driven integrated marketing approach,” said Peggy Swords, president and founder, Excalibur Exhibits. “Our clients know that can count on us to find creative ways to stretch marketing budgets while still garnering measurable results.”

Yet a third award bestowed upon the firm, Excalibur Exhibits was named by Houston Business Journal as one of the city’s 100 fastest growing companies for the second year in a row on its “Fast 100” list. Ranking 79th, the list considers percentage of growth in revenue by the private companies in the Houston area from 2010-2012. Excalibur Exhibits listed a 73.67 percentage of growth during the reporting period.

Among other high-profile awards presented to Excalibur Exhibits this year include being named to the LSU 100 for the third year in a row in April, and winning two Crystal Awards from the American Marketing Association for the design of the Texas Vietnam Veterans exhibit in June.

“Excalibur Exhibits’ success can be attributed to our ability to create multi-sensory marketing experiences that show a measurable return on our client’s investment,” said Swords. “Excalibur has a deep pool of international expertise, which is a huge asset to our clients. We have proven that we can successfully manage any type of exhibit or event anywhere around the world.”
