
London, UK – Excel London has announced the appointment of Helene Sharrock as its Chief People Officer, a newly created Executive role that reinforces the venue’s continued commitment to its people, culture, and long-term growth ambitions.
The creation of the Chief People Officer role marks an important milestone for Excel London as it continues to invest in further strengthening its industry-leading teams. It also follows a review of its People & Culture function and aims to ensure it continues to support Excel’s mission to become The Best Event Destination in the World.
Helene Sharrock joins the London venue from her most recent role as Chief People Officer at The Jockey Club, bringing with her a breadth of experience from previous senior positions at Marks & Spencer, BT, ESPN and ITN. She will play a central role in driving Excel’s people strategy, supporting organisational development, and helping to shape a workplace culture that supports Excel’s purpose mission and values.
