Exhibit Systems, a premier exhibit and display company, strengthened its design and construction team with the addition of a creative professional. Chris Dakins brings three decades of experience in the tradeshow industry to its Project Construction Team.
A veteran craftsman and artist, Dakins brings an extensive background in creating two- and three-dimensional graphics that make exhibits and displays stand out from the crowd. His design, painting and construction talents have brought ideas to life for more than 30 years.
Dakins comes to Exhibit Systems from Triad Creative, where he also built models for architectural, industrial and museum purposes.
“We are exceptionally pleased to welcome Chris to our design and building team, where his artistic and hands-on abilities complement an already very talented group,” said Dave Jentz, vice president, Exhibit Systems. “His background in meshing amazing graphics with tradeshow displays further strengthens our ability to create exhibits that draw people in and get conversations started.”
Dakins will also assist customers in the event services arm of Exhibit Systems. He will prepare displays for shipping to events, and attend shows to assist with the set-up and takedown of exhibits.
In his early career, Dakins honed his creative and professional talents working for Exhibits Plus and Badger Expositions, both Milwaukee-area companies. He is a graduate of the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, where he focused on illustration and design.
